Team Pure’s Summer Party at SUSHISAMBA

Last night was our staff summer party and we were lucky enough to be invited to join Phil the lovely events manager at SUSHISAMBA for an incredible evening…and what an evening it was! After zooming up the Heron Tower in the glass lift to the 38th floor Phil met us and quickly whisked us off to the terrace for some delicious cocktails and to take in the views of London on such a beautiful warm summers evening. The outside bar is such a great area to wind down in after a day in the office and the cocktails, which are both beautifully to look at, and to taste, started the evening off perfectly.

Phil had kindly saved us an amazing table right in the middle of the restaurant where we couldn’t help but take in everything around us as we settled down to start what can only be described as a mouth-watering food extravaganza! Where do we even start? We tried so many different things and couldn’t possibly pick a favourite but here are a few that as a team we can safely say we couldn’t recommend more…

SUSHISAMBA has been open for nearly two years now, but it is still a busy, exciting and stunning venue. The huge glass walls don’t let you forget just how high up you are and the design and décor reflects the Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian influences. The open bamboo structured ceiling holds a grid of lights at varying heights which becomes a spectacular feature as the skies around you darken.

We couldn’t help but take a few team selfies in between the delicious mouthfuls.


Finally when the sun had gone down and we couldn’t squeeze a single bite more in, no matter how delicious we knew it would be, we moved onto one of the balconies and enjoyed the cool London air and gorgeous London night skyline. Back on the terrace the tree that dominates the bar area had been transformed into a magical light feature which truly took our breath away.

Extremely full and ever so happy we descended back down the tower to the waiting taxis ready to whisk us home. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful evening and can’t thank Phil and the rest of the team at SUSHISAMBA London enough for hosting such a memorable evening!
