ACE HOTEL

Although the ‘Ace Hotel’ brand may have been founded in America, it has now cemented itself as one of the most popular new hotels within London. Influenced by its location in Shoreditch the hotel offers quirky elements such as record players in your room and a photo booth in the lobby. The 7th floor of the hotel boasts a bar, balcony and a host of other rooms such as the Griffin, Britannia, Empire and Stingo rooms which are used specifically for events and offer a range of capacities. These can be hired out exclusively for larger events requiring significant production, or taken separately for smaller events such as dinners, receptions and conferences. The basement known as ‘Miranda’ is a perfect venue for fun receptions, press launches and parties with a capacity of 200 standing.

Sea Containers|Mondrian London

One of the most recent private dining rooms to open in London is that within the Sea Containers restaurant at The Mondrian Hotel which opened on 30th September 2014. This 20 seated room is partitioned from the hustle and bustle of the main restaurant by a glass wall and door, which allows guests to enjoy the intimate nature of Private Dining whilst still soaking up the atmosphere that this design led hotel offers in abundance. The walls are dominated by the ‘S’ and ‘C’ from the original Sea Containers sign and as of summer 2015, there will be an adjoining private terrace for the sunnier days in London.

BALTHAZAR

One of the more traditional Private dining rooms in London, the PDR at Balthazar is located on the first floor above the main restaurant. With its own bar and lounge, this space can hold 90 for a standing reception or 60 for a seated dinner making it perfect for private parties. The ambient style of Balthazar is complimented by its antique timber floorboards and original pewter bar top creating a very traditional Parisian style venue in the heart of London.

PERRIER-JOUËT ROOM AT SEARCY’S | THE GHERKIN

The Perrier-Jouët Private Dining Room can be found on level 38 at the iconic Searcy’s The Gherkin. Offering spectacular views over London, this PDR which can seat 30 has a definite ‘wow factor’. Inspired by beauty infused with nature the décor is predominately white and gold with a delicate and floral style. Offering traditional British cuisine this venue is perfect for private parties or for entertaining corporate clients.
